I am sending warm holiday wishes from South Florida along with some warm colors from my garden. Fiona the greyhound is not fond of my annual attempt at getting her in the holiday spirit. Hopefully all this verbal and photographic warmth will counteract the temperatures outside…it was 35 F (1.6 C) this morning, making this the coldest morning in recent memory.

6º here this morning, with a dusting of snow at the end of all that rain. A white Christmas!

We would be immobilized by 6 degrees. The only plant looking unhappy thus far is basil. Time will tell. I am thinking you are toasty by the wood stove enjoying the hush of the snow? Merry White Christmas!

More than enough of the cold here… how cold is it there?

It went down to about 16 degrees. Our electricity stayed on, but some areas were out due to trees.

It is definitely the coldest Christmas since we moved to Florida. I think I’m going to be replanting my basil, hope yours survives. Merry Christmas
