This is the fifth edition of A Week in Flowers. Garden bloggers worldwide have been sharing their flowery images with Cathy at wordsandherbs.wordpress.com. We are all making the world a more colorful place this week.
Today is Thanksgiving in the US. Despite 2020, I feel we have much to be thankful for. My garden, for one and blogging friends have been a great respite from current events. Thank you all.
Here is a close up image of the Blanchetiana Bromeliad I posted yesterday. Sometimes called Lobsterclaw..

Tecoma stans, Yellow Bells, in flower.

The Sweet Almond Bush (Aloysia virgata) is flowering sweetly today.

Miss Alice Bougainvillea and the Beautyberries are still hanging on today.
Happy Thanksgiving!!
Happy Thanksgiving to you.

Hope your day has been a good one… I’ve never experienced a quieter Thanksgiving!
Today, I’ve been focusing on what I am grateful for, and one thing I realized is that I was thankful I didn’t have to cook for a crowd! Silver linings. 😉

That is funny, I just said the same thing to my husband..big dinners are a lot of work! I am so thankful we all made it this far and our country is on a better road and there is a vaccine!! And marinating lamb chops for two in the fridge, green beans from the garden and a pumpkin pie on the counter!! Dinner soon.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, Amy! I know you’re headed to bed, but we just ate our pie over here… Can’t believe how perfect your beauty berries still look. The aloysia is a delicate charmer.
